Projected starters

Clayton Custer
Custer is the leader of this team and is the best player in the Missouri Valley. He led the Ramblers in scoring, assists, steals, and three-point shooting a year ago, showing just how big of an impact he has. However, Custer’s biggest value to this team is his ability to run the show and keep the offense executing at a high level.

Marques Townes
The Fairleigh Dickinson transfer started every game for Loyola a year ago and is one of the keys as to why Moser is able to use four perimeter players at a time. He plays much bigger than his 6-4, 210-pound frame would suggest thanks to his toughness and athleticism, both traits that make him a quality defender.

Lucas Williamson
Just a freshman a year ago, Williamson provided a spark with 20 minutes per game off the bench. His contributions were mostly on the offensive end as he can fill it up from all three levels, but Williamson isn’t a slouch defensively, either. Williamson will see a much bigger role with Donte Ingram leaving and should step seamlessly into the starting lineup.

Aher Uguak
This spot is the biggest question mark for the Ramblers, as it’s the only open starting position given the four key returners. It’s looking like that will go to Uguak. The 6-7, 210-pound New Mexico transfer is a freak athlete (the best on the team) and a perfect stretch four for this lineup because of it. Moser expects him to be “an inside-outside mismatch.”

Cameron Krutwig
Krutwig was one of the biggest and best surprises for the Ramblers as a freshman last year. The 6-9, 260-pounder was incredibly efficient in the post, using this strength, soft touch, and excellent footwork to average over 10 points and six rebounds per game. He’s the anchor of their perimeter-oriented attack.
