Bubble and Bids by Conference

As I mentioned in my introduction, there are still two whole months left prior to Selection Sunday. And while some programs might just want to kick off the tournament now based on their play to date, others definitely want more time to build up their future resume. Given how far the Big Dance is away, there is plenty of time left for teams to make their moves regarding the bubble and seeding. For now, though, here are my last eight teams in the projected field and the first eight on the outside-looking-in.

Safer…not safe: Seton Hall, Florida, Butler, Temple

Last Four In: UCF, Washington, Texas, Minnesota

First Four Out: Clemson, Creighton, Arizona State, Alabama

Next Four Out: Utah State, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Oregon

That concludes this edition of my bracketology projected field. I hope that your favorite team was able to secure a position and that you enjoyed the field/words. There is a lot of season left but hopefully this provides a bit of a snapshot of where the country stands.
