Arkansas Razorbacks

Arkansas has seemingly risen out of nowhere. After starting the season at just 10-7 (1-4 SEC), the Razorbacks were written off by bracketologists everywhere. Now, though, they have won three of their last four games, including two this past week over Georgia (home) and LSU (away). This most recent victory over the Tigers was easily the best of the season for the Razorbacks and puts them firmly in the bubble conversation.

Of course, due to Arkansas’ weak overall resume that lacks many high-quality wins, they still have a decent amount of work to do to crawl into the projected field. This week, though, will definitely make bracketologists think twice about their resume and consider moving them up significantly. The Razorbacks have definitely exceeded expectations over the past couple of weeks and it will be interesting to see how they will continue to develop moving forward.

Head coach Mike Anderson has really done a nice job with this roster so far this year, especially on the defensive end. In order for Arkansas to continue rising, though, they will need to rebound the ball much better defensively and hopefully they can learn to limit sending opponents to the free throw line.
