12) Tulane Green Wave

Tulane made as good of a hire as they could have made when they brought Ron Hunter over from Georgia State to replace Mike Dunleavy.

Hunter is one of the most well-respected coaches in the country and is a proven recruiter. He has assembled a coaching staff designed to build a significant presence in New Orleans, plus Hunter’s ties to the Atlanta area.

However, this is a rebuild that will take time. A good deal of time.

The Green Wave failed to win a single AAC game last year (they only had four wins overall) and a number of players are in the transfer portal, including last season’s top two leading scorers in Caleb Daniels and Samir Sehic.

Tulane is going to win more than four games next year – Hunter is too good of a coach not to. But, given the lack of talent the Green Wave are expected to have, winning anything more than one or two conference games would be a success.
