NCAA Basketball: Most likely options for Boogie Ellis after leaving Duke
By Josh Stevens
USC Trojans
This team is going to be loaded next season even if Kevin Porter stays in the draft. They will also have lost Bennie Boatwright, but bringing in the number 5 recruiting class even without Boogie Ellis leaves a lot of hope for the Trojans.
I think he would fit like a glove in this situation. They have signed 3 top 100 players already that all play in the frontcourt. They are lacking a guard, and this is where Boogie enters into the conversation. Now that he has decommitted from the Blue Devils they have a front-row seat to recruit him.
The Trojans would have created if he signs there, in my opinion, the second best-recruiting class in the nation. For Boogie, the opportunity to play in front of many of his friends and family, to compete for a PAC-12 title, and a chance to shine and improve his draft stock tremendously. Ellis is a great shooter something that every team needs, and with the inside game that Mobley and Okongwu will bring could open up the court to creat more shots for him.
