No. 7 – C.J. Massinburg (Guard, Buffalo)

The Buffalo Bulls have had the two best seasons in program history over the past two years, and head coach Nate Oats parlayed that success into a job as the new head man of Alabama. Another member of the program looking to parlay the last two seasons into a professional upgrade is guard C.J. Massinburg.

The 6-3 Massinburg did a little bit of everything for the Bulls, leading them in scoring with over 18 points per game, pulling down 6.5 rebounds while dishing out three assists and coming up with 1.2 assists. The Bulls spent the season in the top 25 but the 32-4 Bulls fell to eventual national runner-up Texas Tech in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.

Massinburg is now hoping to hear his name called during the draft. He is a solid shooter who shot 40% from three last season with over half his shots coming from behind the arc. He is a good rebounder for his size but may have difficulty getting to the rim at the next level against length. He has a tendency to struggle on the defensive end, but like a lot of guys on this list, his ability to put the ball in the basket consistently should get him a look. That along with his rebounding and playmaking ability, he could carve out himself a nice role in the right situation.
