Dylan Addae-Wusu – Yonkers, NY

SG | 6-foot-4 | 180 lbs | Not Ranked

St. John’s offered Dylan Wusu in late-June and they remain one of the top programs in contention for his commitment. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is a New York native and brings plenty of versatility to the table. He rebounds exceptionally well for his position and also can burst to the rim with explosiveness. He is not currently ranked by the 247Sports Composite and St. John’s is the only Power-6 team to offer him a scholarship. With that said, though, he is well-built and has the potential to be a solid contributor at the college level. He also competed alongside current SJU commit Posh Alexander on the EYBL circuit. He averaged 11.9 points (.456/.339/.851), 5.2 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game and was quite productive at the Peach Invitational. He could easily continue his college career alongside his EYBL backcourt partner in Alexander.

Jamir Watkins – Trenton, NJ

SF | 6-foot-7 | 200 lbs | Not Ranked

Jamir Watkins might be unranked by the 247Sports Composite but he is fresh off a solid summer while playing for Team Final (PA). Over the course of 17 contests with the EYBL team, he averaged 9.1 points (.448/.333/.815) and 5.7 rebounds per game. He is a smooth 6-foot-7 athlete with a high ceiling as he is only just starting to realize his potential. Watkins played quite well over the summer and attracted attention from many high-major programs. He also recently released the final four schools remaining in his recruitment: St. John’s, Seton Hall, VCU, and Virginia Tech. Watkins is not a highly-regarded recruit but he is definitely worthy of playing at the high-major level. He brings plenty of size to the wing, can be a threat at all three levels, and is oozing with potential on both ends of the floor.
