Seton Hall – Buy

The answer to this question is a resounding Yes, at this point so far in the season it doesn’t appear to be much of a contest. Not only is Myles Powell the best player, but he is also the most exciting. Seton Hall has a great supporting cast around Powell even though he may not need it. The senior guard is currently averaging 23 points per game, to go along with 4.0 rebounds. What sets him apart from the elite scorers in the country is many games Powell is extremely efficient. He shoots over 40% from the floor as well as deep.

The Pirates were picked by many to be one of the nation’s best this year and to finish near the top of the Big East, the guard is a huge reason why so many individuals like the prospects of Seton Hall. The guard has already gone against two of the best guards in the country and out-dueled them both, even though his team lost. In the game earlier this year against Michigan State, Powell scored 37 points and outdueled Spartan star Cassius Winston. In his most recent effort, the Pirate star scored 32 against Oregon, while the Duck star Payton Pritchard scored 16. Powell has tried to will his team to a win in both games even though Seton Hall lost both games.

The guard originally from New Jersey shows up when the lights are the brightest. There are not many other players in the country who can do what Powell does on the biggest stage. Seton Hall is going to go as far as Powell takes them and he has proven he will keep them in every single game they play. When the guard is rolling Seton Hall, games are tremendously fun.

The guard is not bashful and will fire a shot from anywhere on the floor and after he makes it, there is usually a dance and a smile from ear to ear. Watching a player have as much fun as Powell does playing basketball makes the experience of watching him play that much better.
