NCAA Draft 2020: Biggest rising and falling stocks at end of non-conference
Falling – Scottie Lewis
The Florida freshman has played in only half of Florida’s games and to this point he has yet to develop a steady rhythm.
So far this season, Florida’s biggest recruit, Scottie Lewis, has yet to find himself on the court. Lewis has appeared in all 10 of the Gator’s contests and has posted modest averages of 7.8 points and 4.1 rebounds.
Lewis has struggled to shoot the ball (38.5 percent from the field, 20 percent from three) in the early going of the season and that has hampered his ability to be effective on the court.
Realistically, it’s fair to expect more from Lewis thus far. He’s playing alongside one of college basketball’s best distributors in Andrew Nembhard and should be able to find ways to get good looks and put the ball in the basket.
Lewis is a freshman so he may just need some time to adjust and increase his confidence, but Gator fans and draft analysts alike would hope to see more out of the freshman guard moving forward as the season goes on.
