NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Analyzing top 2020 classes prior to spring
9. Arkansas Razorbacks (4 commits)
Average Class Ranking: 8.5
Head coach Eric Musselman made his impact on Nevada by securing high-level transfers to fill each roster. Now that he is at the helm of Arkansas, though, Coach Musselman has shown his chops with regard to landing high school prospects as well. The Razorbacks’ 2020 recruiting class is already excellent with four commits that are all regarded as Top 100 players.
Moses Moody, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard out of Montverde Academy, is the highest-rated of the group at No. 45/54 in the class. He boasts a ridiculously long wingspan and is a strong athlete as well. This gives him plenty of potential to be an elite-level defender and he is already a dangerous offensive threat, particularly from 3-point range. Moody could be a star and should see a big role with the Razorbacks from Day 1.
KK Robinson is the next intriguing prospect of the class as a 6-foot-0 lead guard from Oak Hill Academy. He also brings a solid frame to the table and is a dynamic lefty creator that can score at all three levels. Robinson still needs to work on improving his playmaking but he should be able to score right away as the No. 71/67 recruit.
Arkansas’ class is rounded out by a pair of in-state prospects in Jaylin Williams (No. 72/61) and Davonte Davis (No. 98/132). Williams is a lengthy 6-foot-9 big man that rebounds at a high level and can finish above the rim in transition. He has a long way to go, though. Davis, on the other hand, is a backcourt prospect that can finish in the lane quite well and should continue to improve on both ends.
