7. NC State Wolfpack (5 commits)

Average Class Ranking: 8.0

NC State reached the NCAA Tournament in its first year under head coach Kevin Keatts but it did not return the following year and was hovering on the bubble for the 2020 Big Dance as well. The Wolfpack has finished between No. 40-50 on KenPom in each of these three campaigns and the future will hopefully lead to a big jump. With five strong commits in tow for the 2020 class, that could easily be in store.

Leading the way for this group is 6-foot-9 power forward Josh Hall. A true matchup nightmare with his size and superb athleticism, Hall should be an immediate difference-maker as a freshman for the Wolfpack. He has a long way to go with regard to his development but is highly ranked (No. 36/22) for a reason – his ceiling is incredibly high.

He is also joined in the class by another Top 100 commit in point guard Cam Hayes. Another prospect out of North Carolina, Hayes comes in ranked at No. 63/69 in the class and is a pure point guard. He distributes at a very high level and understands how to run an offense. Hayes is an intelligent floor general and should grow throughout the next few years.

While those two are the headliners for NC State, the class also features a pair of frontcourt pieces in power forward Nick Farrar (No. 164/148) and center Ebenezer Dowuona (No. 296/NR) as well as a point guard in Shakeel Moore (No. 124/112).

Coach Keatts did an excellent job working the area to build a future for NC State.
