4. Michigan Wolverines (5 commits)

Average Class Ranking: 4.5

Michigan head coach Juwan Howard has immediately made an impact on the recruiting trail. He was hired prior to this past season – which resulted in a successful campaign on the court – and the talent level in Ann Arbor should only continue to rise under his leadership. Coach Howard’s extensive connections in the basketball world have already paid major dividends as he has secured four big-time commits while also holding onto another one from the previous leadership.

That prior commit comes in the form of Zeb Jackson. A shooting guard playing at Montverde Academy, Jackson committed to Michigan when John Beilein was leading the program but signed his LOI after discussing with Coach Howard. Jackson is ranked at No. 69/76 in the class and is a strong guard definitely capable of scoring at a high clip.

With Jackson already in tow, Coach Howard was able to turn his attention to the frontcourt and he managed to secure a number of high-level players. The most notable of these is Isaiah Todd, the lone five-star commit. Todd is ranked at No. 13/14 in the nation as a 6-foot-10 power forward. It is no secret that he will immediately step into a big role.

7-foot-2 Hunter Dickinson also announced his intentions to play for the Wolverines a couple of months after Todd. He is a fringe five-star prospect ranked at No. 32/34 and uses his size remarkably well. Dickinson was one of the most consistent performers on the Nike EYBL circuit. Furthermore, Terrance Williams joined the fray as the No. 85/100 ranked prospect. He was a former Georgetown commit when he announced his change a couple of weeks after Dickinson.

Jace Howard was the final commit of the class (so far) and he is a 6-foot-8 forward ranked at No. 346/NR.
