Arkansas Razorbacks

Eric Musselman has been off to a really good start at Arkansas going 20-12 in his first season. Musselman has been building his programs through the transfer portal and McClung would be a huge addition for their 2021 team.

Musselman and Arkansas have made the final lists for quite a few other transfers this spring looking to add talent. With the sixth-ranked 2020 recruiting class according to 24/7 Sports Arkansas actually looks like a really appealing option. Arkansas has already landed New Mexico transfer Vance Jackson and Northern Kentucky graduate transfer Jalen Tate.

Arkansas is ultimately waiting on the decision of Isaiah Joe and if he’ll be back for his sophomore year or not. Joe declared for the draft but has maintained his eligibility in the process. If he were to return, Arkansas would have all 13 of their scholarships filled which would require someone else to leave the program. Without that happening Arkansas would essentially be eliminated from consideration.

Arkansas could have a completely different roster in two seasons, Arkansas has been aggressive on the recruiting trail and are looking to establish themselves in a competitive SEC. Mac McClung to Arkansas would put the rest of the SEC on notice if they aren’t already. Arkansas is setting itself up for success in the future.
