Andrew Nembhard would have tons of talent to make plays with

Andrew Nembhard joining the Duke Blue Devils rotation for the 2021-22 season gives them a potentially deadly backcourt rotation. For one the point guard duties will be passed to Sharing the 2021 commit A.J. Griffin, D.J. Steward and Jeremy Roach, should he stay and not leave for the NBA Draft.

Not to mention, the Blue Devils still have three spots left to fill in their 2021 recruiting class and given how they’ve finished among the Top 10 overall recruiting classes in the past few cycles, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them add some more talent in the backcourt.

Then, in the frontcourt, they’ll have the likes of Jaemyn Brakefield, Henry Coleman III, Wendell Moore Jr. and Mark Williams and Matthew Hurt and Joey Baker on the wings. Depending on how things fare for this group in 2020-21, a return in 2021-22 could raise the odds for them, especially with a guy like Nembhard in the rotation.

He’s a guard that knows how to score and distribute and given a faster pace and different style at Duke, he could show off a lot more than he did in the SEC. After all, he’d make a solid backcourt enhancement for them.
