8. Virginia Tech Hokies

With Cartier Diarra only around for one season, the Hokies are going to need to find another scorer who can potentially lead them on offense in 2021-22. The Hokies, which is located close to Baltimore, provides Stanley not only a chance to stay close to home but to play and be a leading force on an ACC program.

Virginia Tech has plenty of good guards to work with, including a pair of incoming four-star guards. The frontcourt is more of an issue, with the team’s leading rebounder just 6’2 Tyrece Radford. Stanley can play at the undersized power forward position and have plenty of looks on offense for a rebuilding team.

7. Georgetown Hoyas

Between the transfer exodus and top player Omer Yurtseven going pro, the Hoyas roster has been ravaged. And they’ve struggled in landing many transfers this offseason to replenish the talent pool, although the team did get Arkansas point guard Jalen Harris and Northwestern State forward Chudier Bile.

But with them, along with rising key seniors Jahvon Blair and JaMorko Pickett only around for one more year, the Hoyas will be desperate to have a great 2021 class of recruits/transfers. Having a veteran with experience and proven scoring such as Stanley is a massive need and he could absolutely lead Georgetown in scoring if he chooses this option. However, he also could be playing for a new head coach if Patrick Ewing struggles some more.
