What would be the team name?

Personally, I think the best team name for a Duke Blue Devils TBT team would be “K’s Krew”, obviously honoring legendary Duke basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski. While this is similar to the team of former Ohio State players’ team name “Carmen Crew” I think this is still somewhat unique and very fun.

Other team names could be:

  • Dukes of Durham
  • The Brotherhood
  • Bull City Boys
  • Cameron Crazies

I like all of these names a lot but personally, my favorite is by far “K’s Krew.” However, with Dayton using their student section’s name “Red Scare” I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the team of former Blue Devils went with a team of either their motto “The Brotherhood” or their student section name “Cameron Crazies.”

Obviously “Cameron Crazies” refers to Cameron Indoor Stadium, where the Blue Devils play their home games. In the end, the team name isn’t all that important, but it could undoubtedly make for some interesting merchandise for Duke fans.

I mean, a hoodie or t-shirt with any of those team names with the exception of The Brotherhood and Cameron Crazies, is something that doesn’t currently exist, and would look pretty dang cool in my opinion.

With the right logo and fonts, these team names could bring in a good amount of money through merchandise sales. What do you think the team name should be, let us know in the comments below or on Twitter!
