7. Baylor continues to miss (big) games
We knew games were going to get canceled this year and we were going to lose some big games, we just didn’t know it would continue to happen to the same team.
Baylor is one of the best teams in the country. They are currently ranked second in the AP Poll, but we are getting robbed of watching them in big games. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of everyone, but can we get a break so we can watch the Bears play?
They were able to play Illinois and that was a good game, but two days later they were supposed to have a goliath matchup with top-ranked Gonzaga. That was canceled because of COVID concerns with the Bulldogs.
This was after Baylor had to drop out of the Empire City Classic where they were going to play Arizona State and possibly Villanova.
Now more cases within the Baylor program and we are losing their game with Texas. Again we have lost other big games this year but it seems like it has hit Baylor the most and is missing out on the pleasure of watching one of the best teams in the country.
Hopefully, by the end of the year, this will just a blip on the radar but right now it hurts. It takes the most away from the actual Baylor program, but as a fan, we are missing out on some great basketball.
