Big 12 Basketball: WVU falls, OK State rises heading into conference tournament

Previous Games: 49-69 loss at. Texas Tech, 67-76 loss at. West Virginia 64-76 loss vs. Texas.
The Horned Frogs were having to play catchup the entire night as there was never a sense of rhythm for TCU. On a night where Mac McClung took just four shots and Texas Tech made six three-pointers, they were still able to cruise throughout.
TCU’s offense was less than desirable, to say the least, connecting on just 38.8% of their shots from the field. They had just 22 points in the first half and finished with one player in double figures. TCU has not hit 80 points, since their 81-78 win over Oklahoma State on February 3.
Jaedon LeDee was a nice surprise as he secured eight points and six rebounds in just 14 minutes off the bench.
LeDee did not leave his impressive performances in Lubbock as he dumped a career-high 20 points in Morgantown. His first appearance of the season, was an OT loss to Missouri, back on January 30.
The transfer from Ohio State added eight rebounds off of 7-10 from the field. Apart from him, TCU’s offense was just average. They shot 38% from the field and got a near double-double from Kevin Samuel. Samuel finished with 12 points and eight rebounds.
With NCAA Tournament hopes all but gone, TCU had a chance to finish their season and have the seniors finish on a high note, against rival Texas.
