Mac McClung, Adam Miller among top 20 new available NCAA Basketball transfers
2. G Matt Bradley – Cal Bears
2020-21 stats: 18.0 ppg and 4.6 rpg
Despite dealing with injuries this past season, Bradley still managed to be one of the top players out west for the second straight year, once again landing All-Pac 12 honors. The 6’4 guard/wing went for double figures in all but one game and had a career-high 29 points in a game against Colorado.
Bradley is one of the best pure scorers in all of NCAA Basketball and with a better supporting cast and winning team can become a national star. Bradley is a good defender, a career 40% three-point shooter, and capable of going off at any night. If he stays out west and transfers to another Pac-12 program, that team would be the clear favorite to win the league.
1. G Mac McClung – Texas Tech Red Raiders
2020-21 stats: 15.5 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2.1 apg
His numbers were overall the same when he was at Georgetown but McClung clearly was a better overall player with the Red Raiders this past season. He was much more efficient from the field and better defensive as well. McClung still can be a gunner that can go off at any time, including 10 games of at least 10 points and a season-high of 30 against West Virginia.
Now dealing with a head coaching change, McClung is a free agent once again. He can join Chris Beard at Texas or find an even better spot. The guard has proven he can be an electric scorer anywhere and expect any team in need of a scoring guard to make a run in the next couple of weeks. But the Longhorns may be the team to beat right now.
