SF Jason Thirdkill (No. 36 SF, No. 144 overall)

Team: TCU

TCU got the recruiting trial started with PJ Haggerty announcing his commitment on June 14. From Crosby to TCU’s own backyard in Carrollton, TX, the top target at the current moment with the highest chance of landing in Fort Worth is Thirdkill.

Thirdkill has been making noise over the summer in the Grassroots and his 6-foot-7 wingspan can help on defense. He can pass the ball well for his size and can disrupt the game at a high level.

Jamie Dixon’s seat in Fort Worth will never be “on fire” with the leash that he has. The Horned Frogs aren’t expecting high-level success and haven’t had it in the Big 12. Adding Thirdkill would add another solid, athletic piece, that can blossom into a starter as an upperclassman.

TCU is the lone Big 12 school in his commitment and has the advantage of the recruiting pitch to stay at home and play at a Power 5 school. Other schools that offered Thirdkill includes, Texas A&M, LSU, Depaul, and East Carolina.

My prediction for Thirdkill would be between TCU and LSU, giving the slight edge to LSU. However, it would not come as a surprise if he was wearing the purple in the state of Texas.

Prediction: LSU
