The transfer market has become quite the experience at the end of the season, especially when it comes to the Power 5 conferences. ACC basketball finds itself amidst a striking movement where transfers and graduate transfers alike are using their talent to move into better roles for themselves within the ranks.

With the new rules in place for transfers not having to sit a season and the NIL agreement in place, ACC basketball is set for a facelift in its talent pool. With more than 1,700 transfers in the portal, a lot of rosters look completely different from a season ago.

There’s a lot of potential lurking now in the conference with players from both mid-major and Power 5 locations moving into new roles. With new coaching faces and potential stars, get ready for another wild and always, exciting season of ACC basketball.

One thing fans can expect: An improved league shooting from 3-point land. A lot of teams found themselves coming out of the transfer portal with players that can shoot it at efficiency from behind the arc, among other things.

While it’s always hard to distinguish winners from an overall ACC basketball standpoint right away, teams who improved their perimeter shooting should see results going forward. Here’s a look at the Top 20 ACC basketball transfers to keep an eye on in 2021-22.
