4. Scottie Reynolds – Villanova, 2007-2010

Career stats: 16.0 PPG, 2.9 RPG, 3.5 APG

Reynolds is second in Villanova history in career points with 2,222 and third in steals with 207 over his four years in school. Most importantly, he was the second-leading scorer on the team that helped Jay Wright to his first Final Four back in 2009.

What really made Reynolds’ college career special was his consistency, averaging 14.8 points as a freshman, 15.9 as a sophomore, 15.2 as a junior, and 18.2 as a senior. He was one of the best players in the Big East from the moment he set foot on a college campus, which is proven by his All-Big East selection as a freshman and a sophomore. He was also a consensus first-team All-American as a senior in 2010.

3. Collin Gillespie – Villanova, 2018-2022

Career stats: 11.9 PPG, 2.9 RPG, 3.1 APG

Gillespie chose to stick around for his super-senior season in 2021-22, which resulted in another Final Four run as well as with him passing Phil Booth for the most games played in a Villanova uniform. He is the only Villanova player to win Big East Player of the Year two times and is on a shortlist of players to make an All-Big East team three times.

Although it was the only season of his career in which he was not a starter, Gillespie played an instrumental role as a member of the 2018 national championship squad. He finished his career ranked second in Villanova history in win shares, per Sports Reference.
