By Joey Loose
80. Johnell Davis – Florida Atlantic
Many are responsible for Florida Atlantic’s historic rise, but Conference USA’s Sixth Man of the Year played a major role in this great season. Davis averaged 13.5 points and 5.2 rebounds a game and earned First Team All-CUSA honors with impressive stats and metrics across the board, including a double-double in their November win at Florida.
79. Kihei Clark – Virginia
A national champion four seasons ago with these same Cavaliers, Clark is now the senior point guard trying to find success again at Virginia. Clark is averaging a career-high 10.9 points a game and was named Third Team All-ACC and to the conference’s All-Defense team. His 5.4 assists per game propelled him near the top of the all-time lists in ACC history.
78. Jeremy Roach – Duke
A former top recruit, Roach has been vital to Duke’s recent success as their junior point guard. He’s averaging 13.3 points and 3.1 assists and has provided important veteran leadership to the Blue Devils. He also set a season-high with a 23-point performance in the title game of the ACC Tournament back on Saturday.
77. Johni Broome – Auburn
Broome is an extremely talented forward who starred at Morehead State the last two years before joining Bruce Pearl’s squad at Auburn. This season, he averaged 14.0 points and 8.4 rebounds, becoming one of the best post players in the SEC after being the top player in the OVC as a sophomore last year.
76. Jaren Holmes – Iowa State
Iowa State hit a home run when they found this combo guard in the Transfer Portal, as Holmes had spent the last three years starring at St. Bonaventure. He put up 13.4 points a game with the Cyclones, finishing off his collegiate career on a high note with another trip to the Big Dance. Holmes had at least 16 points in Iowa State’s final four games and will look to continue that proficiency.
