No. 19 Jalen Cook (LSU)

Jalen Cook has now brought his career back to where it all began after his transfer to LSU from Tulane.

Throughout his two seasons, he was a First-Team All-AAC selection and he earned those choices on those teams. Last season Cook averaged 19.9 points and 5.9 assists per game for the Green Wave.

He helped lead that team to a 12-6 record in conference play last season and now stays in the New Orleans area to help lead LSU to a better conference record after the Tigers had a two-win season in their conference last year. Cook can be the star in Baton Rouge, and he will have to be quite a star to help improve this unit.

Cook adds his name to a class that includes Daimion Collins coming in from Kentucky as LSU hopes to improve this program to the heights that some of the other sports around LSU have reached over the past few years.

Cook is a player that can bring that scoring he produced in the AAC up to the SEC level, but the Tigers will have to work hard to get the most out of him, but Cook’s talents should still shine even in this situation.
