Memphis Tigers

I mentioned before about Memphis getting Quinerly, which solves its point guard concerns since five-star incoming freshman Mikey Williams has legal issues to deal with this offseason. But there’s still a frontcourt issue at the four-spot, since they don’t know if Deandre Williams would get an extra year from the NCAA.

If that doesn’t happen, the Tigers would have to start either St. John’s transfer David Jones (more of a wing) or former Temple forward, Nick Jourdain. They could use an upgrade at that position and have already landed six transfers so one more won’t hurt them as a backup option for Williams.

Miami Hurricanes

The Hurricanes have landed wing Matthew Cleveland from Florida State, a good double-digit scorer. But he’s not really a power forward so the team could use another addition such as Ledlum, who is a better option to play that position.

A lineup featuring Norchad Omier, Nijel Pack, Wooga Poplar and Cleveland would be one of the best in NCAA Basketball offensively. And he wouldn’t really be taking much time from the rest of the roster in terms of minutes. The Hurricanes have a couple of roster spots available and coming off a Final Four appearance, have a compelling case to make for him.
