11. Jerome Frink

A 6’7 forward from Jersey City, New Jersey, Frink is another former star at St. Anthony’s HS who found success in the NEC. His career actually began at Florida International, playing a season each in the Sun Belt and CUSA before deciding to transfer. After sitting out a season, Frink was on the court for LIU starting in 2015 and had two very productive years with the Blackbirds to finish off his college career.

During his first year at LIU, Frink averaged 16.6 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, making 38% of his 3-pointers and putting up several double-doubles. His senior season was a very productive year for the Blackbirds program, as he led LIU to 20 wins and a 2d place finish in conference play. Putting up very similar numbers to his junior season, Frink had 30 points at Bryant to kickstart a late-season winning streak, though LIU was upset in the NEC Tournament.

He didn’t get his chance to dance with the Blackbirds, but Frink earned First Team All-NEC honors in both seasons and was even the league’s Player of the Year as a senior. He’d play much better basketball in those final years at LIU, becoming a great scorer and rebounder in the NEC. Frink’s numbers were fantastic as was his influence in leading the Blackbirds to a great season in 2017.
