1. Tim Kempton

Kempton was a very impactful player during his time in the Patriot League, arriving at Lehigh back in 2013. This 6’10 center from Scottsdale, Arizona turned into quite the player for Brett Reed’s program, starring across the next four seasons and leaving quite the legacy behind.

As a freshman, he averaged 13.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and his production would only increase moving forward. After a nice sophomore season, he turned in some fantastic years as an upperclassman. He’d help lead the Mountain Hawks to a pair of 2nd place finishes in the Patriot League, and would actually average 20.4 points and 10.4 rebounds in his senior year. Among the highlights in that last season were a 31-point, 18-rebound effort at Mount St. Mary’s and a number of great performances helming the paint.

The league’s top defensive rebounder for three straight seasons, Kempton was Patriot Rookie of the Year in year one and was named Player of the Year in his next two seasons. A three-time First Team All-Patriot honoree, Kempton was a prolific scorer, with 2043 career points, and one of the league’s best rebounders in recent memory. Kempton didn’t get the Mountain Hawks to the Big Dance, but his sheer numbers and awards make him stand out among the recent stars in this conference.
