Louisville Cardinals

The Cardinals are in the same situation as Boston College when it comes to teams that can offer lots of playing time in rebuilding situations. Louisville is a much bigger program and with the right coach can get back into national contention. But it’s hard to see that happening as long as Coach Kenny Payne is around. And if they’re making a move after this season, we’ll need to see who the new HC is before seeing if they have a shot with Sanon.

Providence Friars

As one of the local options, Providence could have a great shot in this recruitment. Sanon has already visited them and Coach Kim English is one of the bright young recruiters. He can sell the development of Devin Carter, who has turned into a Big East Player of the Year candidate. The team will need a lead guard in the future and Sanon can have that kind of role here.

UConn Huskies

UConn is a national title-winning team that could repeat, becoming one of the top spots for prospects. Coach Dan Hurley also has developed players into NBA players and could have another possible lottery pick in Stephon Castle, a five-star shooting guard who has emerged as of late as a key piece.

The Huskies are another local option but have a greater national profile than Providence. However, that also means more competition for a role compared to what Sanon will deal with the Friars. If it comes down to these two options, it may come down to which is more important, prestige or role.
