Arizona Wildcats at Alabama Crimson Tide
Date: Saturday, December 13
The top team in the country will get put to the test in this game. Tommy Lloyd’s Wildcats are used to the challenge though, as they have played a rugged early season schedule. The Wildcats have wins over Florida, UCLA, UConn, and Auburn to start the season. The win over Auburn was by 29 points, running them out of the gym. Let’s see if they can do the same to the Tigers' rivals from the SEC. Nate Oats has himself quite a squad again in 2025. The Crimson Tide look to have Final Four-type talent and have won four straight. The Crimson Tide scored 115 and 105 in back to back wins over UNLV and Maryland. The offense is 7th in the country with 95.1 points per game. This will be quite the battle between Labaron Philon Jr. and Koa Peat. This has Final Four matchup written all over it.
Louisville Cardinals at Tennessee Volunteers
Date: Tuesday, December 16
Pat Kelsey and his Louisville Cardinals will play a true road game in Knoxville. This is a rematch of last year, where the Volunteers blasted the Cardinals from start to finish. Louisville has just the one loss this season to Arkansas. The Cardinals are another high-scoring team, with nearly 94 points per game. They have cleaned up the glass, ranking in the Top 15 and also Top 25 in assists per game. The Volunteers, led by legendary head coach Rick Barnes, will be seeing red when they take the court, as losers of three straight games. The loss in Nashville to Illinois was a tough one, as they managed just 62 points in the game. The students may be on break for this one, but expect a massive crowd for this matchup on a cold Tuesday night in Knoxville.
