Thad Matta‘s Ohio State Buckeyes have gotten off to exactly the start that they wanted to this season, winning their first nine contests. While their only statement win is over Marquette, they have done exactly what some teams struggle to, take care of the opponents that they should with ease.

North Dakota State will look to rain on the Buckeyes parade in Columbus. Both teams rely heavily on their backcourt for contributions, most notably Aaron Craft for Ohio State and Taylor Braun for North Dakota State. Craft and Braun are two of just twelve players in the nation to average 10 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals per contest.

Should you be watching?

Yes. North Dakota State is no joke. While Ohio State will amost certainly win this match-up, and do it somewhat easily, the guard play alone of these two teams will make for basketball worth watching. In addition, one team’s win streak will come to an end on Saturday. The Buckeyes have won all nine games so far this season, but the Bison are on a five-game winning streak of their own.
