Did you hear that? The giant sigh of relief coming from somewhere in Big East Conference-ville, USA? Yup, that is the sound the collective fans of bucket-making are doing after finding out that an MRI test done on Creighton Bluejays superstar, Doug McDermott, came back clear.

According to Gary Parrish of CBS, all things Dougie Fresh related are swell. Don’t believe me? Well, look at the beautiful bean footage:

McDermott hurt his shoulder in a win against the DePaul Blue Demons on Tuesday. Which is like saying he hurt his shoulder while trying to step around some garbage on the floor. Unnecessary shot at DePaul? You bet. The biggest question going forward is, just how many question marks can I fit in one injury-update article?

Apparently, however, Creighton isn’t going to be as quick as Parrish thinks to rule him active for the game against the Xavier Musketeers. Which is smart since, you know, Doug McDermott is kind of a big deal and all. Regardless, this is very good news for the program as well as the bucket-maker.
