The Kansas Jayhawks have a really interesting team. Not only do they have a coach, Bill Self, that some dopes actually wanted to run out-of-town at one point, but they also of one of the most highly hyped freshman, Andrew Wiggins, that ever put on a pair of sneakers. Oh, and they have seven-foot man-beast, behemoth and all-around swell guy, Joel Embiid.

All of that makes for neat stories and a reason for casual fans to follow them. However, it is just that. There are actual games to be played. You know, games that need to be won. Games, mind you, that Self would prefer to be played by the best version of team as possible.

So, with all of that being said, Kansas looks to be getting good news. Several outlets are reporting that Joel Ebmiid has been practicing and is expected to return to action Tuesday night.

This is obviously great news for Kansas. It is also good for Embiid, who is still as green a player as there is in the country and who could use as much time on the court as the human body permits to help get better at his craft.

Kansas travels to the Everything is Bigger State to play Texas Tech on Tuesday.

With Embiid looking to be a go, Texas is going to get even bigger.

That’s what she said…

Sorry.
