Arizona State Sun Devils sophomore, Jahii Carson, is not going to wait for the season to be over, for scouts to lend him advice, or for the free-world to get a glimpse of his talents in the Pac 12 Tournament before making his mind up. He has already made his decision. Jahii Carson is going to the NBA.

Carson, 18.4 ppg, likely played his last home game on Saturday. I mean unless he changes his minds about entering the 2014 NBA Draft, there will be no home games left for the guard.

After Arizona State destroyed Cal on Saturday, 78-60, head Coach Herb Sendek told the media that was Carson’s last home game. Oddly, though, and we are not entirely sure if this was meant to be humorous or just vague player speak, Carson was asked if this was his last home game and he replied with the always what-in-the-hell-ish, “for the most part.”

Are there more parts to it?

NBADraft.net has Carson being drafted in the second-round. So it is not like he is going to be cashing in on being a lottery pick or anything like that. However, it is really hard to tell someone else what to do with their life.

Even if Carson were to get drafted in the second (which means no guaranteed contract) and never make it in the NBA, it doesn’t mean his basketball dreams would be over.
