If the Skulls movie franchise taught me anything about college it is that legacies are important (and that any beautiful women are dangerous) to the realm of frats and stuff like that. Apparently that sort of thing was picked up by Aaron Holiday as well. The 2015 recruiting class member has committed to the UCLA Bruins.

Aaron Holiday is the brother of former Bruin, Jrue Holiday. Which means Steve Alford likely used a pitch about Aaron being like his big brother. Okay. So I made that past part up. Whatevs.

Rivals considers Aaron Holiday a top-40 recruit. According to them, he is an athletic guard who can play both ends of the floor. Most have refrained from comparing him to his brother, but a lot of the descriptions of their games are similar.

Holiday is the first commitment in the 2015 class for UCLA. Obviously, especially in the brand spanking new Alford era, this is a big deal. While Holiday might not be a top-five recruit, he is certainly no slouch and carries a pretty large set of expectations on his back because of who his brother is.

Holiday took an unofficial visit (which is legal) to the UCLA campus on Sunday. Which really doesn’t matter now, though, because he is now a real life member of the UCLA Bruins.
