How did the second place team in the C-USA tournament get snub for the NIT over High Point, Vermont, Utah Valley, UC Irvine, Boston University, San Francisco and Robert Morris. This team won the Sunbelt last year and won 25 games this year. Wow what else can you do, I can see it they were 20-11 and lost the first game of the Tournament. I think C-USA, got a bad rap this year. But next year …. no prisoners!
I do believe MTSU had a tougher schedule this year than last year. But did they get rewarded for moving into a tougher conference and still posting a 25+ record? The team decided with all their work and effort that it did warrant anything less than NCAA or the NIT and I agree. I wish somebody can tell me the point of all this, because it seems that MTSU is just not known, and if that is the case the criteria is just ludicrous!
