Do you love America? Despite all of its faults, I bet you do. With that being said, the Wisconsin Badgers must hate America. Well, maybe not America the country, but American the basketball program.

With the 2014 NCAA Tournament now officially in full-swing, Wisconsin did not let a little thing like (fake) patriotism get in the way of putting a world class beating on the American Eagles, 75-35.

Traevon Jackson led the way for the Badgers with 18 points. The other usual suspects, including Ben Brust’s 17, also chipped in.

This only leaves us with more questions than answers. Did American belong (of course they did)? Does Bo Ryan hate America? Are the Wisconsin Badgers a team full of communists?

We are obviously kidding, but still.

Wisconsin is now set to face the winner of the Oregon vs BYU game. Luckily for neither of them, though, none of them represent these United States as much as American did.

Okay. That’s enough of the pretend anti America jokes, right? Please tell me I met my quota…
