Transfers can be just as important to the success of a college basketball team as the incoming crop of freshman talent can be.

The cool thing about transfers is that they bring college experience to a team, and if you have established talent already on your roster, a transfer only can enhance the potency of your team.

Some teams seem to do better grabbing transfers than getting top notch freshman talent, but some teams actually get these players to fill needs that will enable their team to compete way sooner than a rebuilding process will allow them to.

There was a huge transfer scramble during the college basketball offseason that saw talent leave their current schools to go elsewhere in the country.

There were also transfers that had served their mandatory one-year waiting period before being able to resume playing that will help out their new team instantly.

These are the transfers that should have an immediate impact on their new teams with major contributions.
