MVC Basketball: Five teams the Valley should add

2. Valparaiso

The Crusaders offer a fantastic geographical addition and could use a jump from the Horizon League. Valpo had a great in-state rivalry when Butler was still in the league and could make newfound rivalries with Indiana State and Evansville.

Valpo has had plenty of post-season success, which is something the MVC is in desperate need of.

The addition would give the Valley a boost in the Chicago market and help expand its Indiana market. It would be a good move for both sides and seems fairly realistic.
