Schedule for the 2011 Big East/SEC Challenge Officially Announced
By Blake Lovell
The schedule for the 2011 Big East/SEC Challenge was just announced, and man are there some exciting matchups that will take place in December.
Here’s a list of the games:
Thursday, December 1
Georgetown at Alabama
St. John’s at Kentucky
Providence at South Carolina
Ole Miss at Depaul
Friday, December 2
Auburn at Seton Hall
Florida at Syracuse
Vanderbilt at Louisville
Cincinnati at Georgia
Saturday, December 3
Pittsburgh at Tennessee
West Virginia at Mississippi State
Arkansas at UConn
LSU at Rutgers
Seriously, there are some fantastic games here. I did this with the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, so I feel the need to do this as well with the Big East/SEC Challenge.
Here’s how I’d rank the games in terms of watchability as of right now:
1. Vanderbilt at Louisville
2. St. John’s at Kentucky
3. Florida at Syracuse
4. Georgetown at Alabama
5. West Virginia at Mississippi State
6. Cincinnati at Georgia
7. Arkansas at UConn
8. Pittsburgh at Tennessee
9. LSU at Rutgers
10. Providence at South Carolina
11. Ole Miss at Depaul
12. Auburn at Seton Hall
Yes, I’m a Vandy fan, but that matchup with Louisville should be a battle of pre-season Top 10 teams. You could easily put the Kentucky/St. John’s game in the top spot as well.
Which game on the schedule intrigues you the most?
