Info on How You Can Help Those Affected in Joplin, MO

Over at Arrowhead Addict, Patrick Allen has put up a nice post on how you can help those in need in Joplin, Missouri, so I wanted to pass along some of that information here on the site.

Here’s the info:

"Please help out if you have a few extra bucks. All you need to do is TEXT 90999 with the message REDCROSS to make a $10 donation. It is quick, simple and will get much needed support to those in desperate need."

The Joplin area was absolutely devastated by tornadoes yesterday, and picture in the post speaks so much louder than words in this particular scenario. It’s just a horrible, horrible sight.

There’s never a way to truly understand things like this. It’s hard to make sense of it all. But, even in the worst of times, we’ve seen communities come together to help one another and that’s always something that makes you emotional as a human being.

It’s going to be a long and hard road to recovery, and the people there can use all the help they can get to help rebuild their community.
