Which Player Would You Take at Number One in the 2011 NBA Draft?

With the 2011 NBA Draft getting closer and closer, lots of former college stars are trying to make that big push to send their names up the draft board and convince teams that they are worth the pick.

The big question surrounding players entering the draft is always about how their game translates to the NBA.

As college basketball fans, we’ve seen a large amount of these guys for at least year or more. But of course, going from the college game to the pro game is different. Much different.

So let’s say you’re Dan Gilbert, owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. You’ve already won the draft lottery and you know for sure that you can choose any player that you want with the first pick. Who are you targeting?

With that in mind, do you take a chance on him? Or would you rather have Derrick Williams or one of the big men like Enes Kanter or Jonas Valancuinas?

Remember, you are making this pick. Not what you think will happen (I’ll point you to my first round mock for that). But what you would do as owner of the fledgling Cavaliers.

Let’s take a vote:
