UConn Heading to the ACC?

facebooktwitterreddit

And the developments continue! With Pitt and Syracuse officially headed to the ACC, it was only a matter of time before other Big East powers started to map out their future.

According to ESPN’s Andy Katz and Joe Schad, UConn is trying to be the next school to leave the Big East to join the ACC.

Supposedly things started heating up once the aforementioned deal was made official with those two.

Expect this to pretty much be the norm over the next week or so. With news coming down a little while ago that the Pac 12 was working on a deal for four Big 12 schools (including Texas and Oklahoma), there’s no stopping this super conference train now.

If we thought the ACC was going to be tough in hoops with the addition of Pitt and Syracuse, just imagine it with the Huskies as well. My goodness.

So who will we be hearing from next in the Big East? I have no idea, but my money is on West Virginia. There’s already been rumors that they’ll be the 14th team in the SEC.

Let the craziness continue.
