The Singing and Coaching Talents of Buzz Williams Are Not Equal
By Blake Lovell
If you’ve read this site before, you’ll know that I’m a huge Buzz Williams fan. I think the guy is one of the best coaches in college basketball, even though he may not get the recognition that some of the top coaches get.
But that will come with consistent winning, which is something that he’s been able to do at Marquette in the seasons that he’s been coaching there.
However, it turns out that Williams might have another extraordinary talent in his repertoire: singing.
When Marquette’s edition of Midnight Madness goes down next Friday night, Williams’ singing skills will indeed be on display as he battles Golden Eagle Junior Cadougan in a karaoke contest.
Huge props to CBSSports.com’s Jeff Goodman for posting this video. It reaffirms my belief that Williams is a very good coach that should keep coaching.
Because it doesn’t look like a singing career will be in his future anytime soon.
What do you think? Could you beat Buzz Williams in a singing contest?
