Recruiting News: Kaleb Tarczewski Chooses Arizona Over Kansas
By Blake Lovell
When Arizona lost that exhibition to Seattle Pacific a few days ago, head coach Sean Miller probably wasn’t a very happy man.
However, his mood likely changed today when 2012 Top 10 recruit Kaleb Tarczewksi chose Miller’s Wildcats over Kansas.
Tarczewski is a 7’0 center who will without question be an impact player for Arizona.
The addition of Tarczewski makes Miller’s 2012 class the best in the nation at this point. They’ve already received commitments from two other big men in 6’8 forward Brandon Ashley and 6’10 forward Grant Jerrett, as well as 6’1 guard Gabe York.
Just think about that frontcourt for a second. We’re talking about three players who will be able to step in right away and play for the Wildcats. Oh, and Arizona will have some nice players returning next season to go along with that.
You can’t really guarantee anything before a recruit steps on the floor for his program of choice. But the fact is, this class that Miller has compiled has a chance put together something really special.
One guarantee we probably can make though is that Arizona won’t be losing any more exhibitions in the near future.
