Oral Roberts Somehow Beats Arkansas-Little Rock On This Shot

The ending to this game is one that most people don’t usually think about.

The team that is defending at the end of the game in a situation like this rarely wins. We usually wonder if the offensive team will be able to throw the ball the length of the floor and somehow find a teammate for a shot at the game-winner.

Well, this game between Oral Roberts and Arkansas-Little Rock had the opposite happen:

That’s just crazy. How many times is the team on defense really thinking “we’re gonna get the steal here and hit a shot of our own to win the game?”

Normally the thought is just to survive and make sure everyone on the offense is accounted for when that ball is in the air.

But hey, awesome endings like this are why we love the game of basketball itself.
