Kentucky-Indiana Series To Officially End
By Blake Lovell
Some very unfortunate news today for not only fans of Kentucky and Indiana, but for fans of college basketball.
Due to the inability to come to an agreement on locations for the games, the two schools have officially called off the series for now.
As someone who loves college basketball, this is an absolute joke in my opinion.
We’re talking about two teams who not only could be in the Top 5 next season, but we’re talking about two teams that could legitimately be ranked No. 1 and No. 2 for an extended period of time next year.
And as long as the two guys that are coaching the two teams stay there, we’re probably going to see that being the case for a while to come.
But yet we won’t get to see that matchup until the NCAA tournament (maybe) because the sides couldn’t compromise on where the games would be played.
We know that each side will blame the other. That’s just the natural thing to do. However, for someone without a dog in the hunt (other than watching a really great college basketball game), it’s easy to see that both parties are to blame and need to do something to figure this out.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look that will happen anytime soon.
So, goodbye awesome basketball series. It’s just so wonderful that you won’t be providing us with moments like these in the near future:
