Dayton Flyers land Kendall Pollard
The Dayton Flyers added their third commitment in the 2013 class and second this month in three-star, Chicago-area small forward Kendall Pollard. One of the top ten recruits in the state, Pollard has been performing at a high level on the AAU circuit for Meanstreets and is a standout at Simeon Vocational High.

Pollard also received offers from Bradley, North Texas, La Salle, Virginia Tech, Colorado State, Illinois-Chicago, Rhode Island, and Tulsa in his recruitment. VT was the only other Big Six offer that Pollard received, and he also took an official visit to Rhode Island just last week.
A high-character winger, he comes from the top high school basketball program in the nation and is teammates with stars such as Jabari Parker, who is arguably the best recruit in the nation. Pollard is a quality player in his own right and is yet another good addition in what is becoming a strong Dayton 2013 class.
The Flyers have another three-star Chicago-area prospect in top 150 recruit Kyle Davis, who chose the team over offers from notable programs such as Xavier, Marquette, Nebraska, Tennessee, and Northwestern. He projects well at either guard position. Archie Miller received a commitment earlier this month from another guard in three-star SG Dayshon Smith, who is the top recruit in the state of Connecticut and another top 150 recruit. While Pollard isn’t as good as the other two, all three of them are solid three-star recruits with Smith and Davis being high-end three-star additions.
