Big East Tournament Bracket: Seedings Set, Schedule Finalized
The Big East football-playing schools — minus Connecticut — and possibly Notre Dame will complete their conference farewell tours at the world’s most famous arena this week. Now the stage is set for one final heavyweight bash.
The seedings and pairings are in place for the 2013 Men’s Basketball Big East Tournament , which tips off Tuesday and concludes Saturday in prime time at Madison Square Garden. Connecticut (10-8), which finished tied with Villanova for seventh in the conference, is ineligible for the postseason due to low Academic Progress Rate test scores.
All 14 eligible participants are seeded as follows:
