Final NBA Draft Early Entry List 2013
Rest easy if your school’s top players have thus far withheld from entering the NBA draft.
They’re staying put, at least for one more year.
Sunday’s deadline to declare for the draft has passed, solidifying the draft class of 2013 and finalizing the band of players headed back to college in the fall. In all, 40 underclassmen — representing two-thirds of the entire draft field — forsook their remaining year(s) of NCAA eligibility to get a head start on their pro-hopeful careers. Nearly two dozen of the 40 early entrants threw their hat into the ring without the backing of a first round assurance. In the NBA, only first round picks receive guaranteed rookie contracts.
