Espn has released its schedule for the Tip-Off marathon beginning November 11th. The event begins in the evening of the 11th with Stanford’s women team taking on the UConn ladies. From there, games will play into the night until the afternoon of the 12th.

The most interesting match up in those games is probably the rivalry between West Virginia and Virginia Tech which will be the last game played on the afternoon of the 12th. The real fun begins that evening, with Kentucky taking on Michigan State in what will be the first real taste of the 2013 UK recruiting class. As for Michigan State, the perennial Big Ten heavyweights are a largely experienced squad led by defensive ace Keith Appling. The contrast between potential and experience should make for a tight and entertaining game.

Not much could top the excitement of debuting Kentucky’s freshman class against one of the best teams in the nation. Phenom Andrew Wiggins’ NCAA debut is one of the few things that could and that is exactly what will follow the UK/Michigan State game. Wiggins and his Kansas Jayhawks will take on the Duke Blue Devils in the late night game.

While Kansas is one of the favorites to go all the way, so is Duke. They have their own highly talented freshman starting his NCAA career, Jabari Parker, and one of the deepest rosters in the nation. This is one of those matchups that will have casual fans tuning in because Wiggins has been one of the most talked about prospects of all time.

The entire NCAA Tip-Off marathon will be televised on ESPN.
